Always a safe bank in Frankfurt when it comes to fresh fish. Most of the times you drop by for a quick lunch here and you can put together your own portions (fish, sauces, side dishes). Alternatively there is the possibility to order a la carte in the restaurant area. For those in a hurry, there is also the "on hand" counter area. What more do you want?

My fiancée had FRANKES FISCHERPFANNE: three kinds of fish fillets with herb butter, with spinach leaves and fried potatoes, I had the COCKTAIL- PRAWNS on Mediterranean vegetables and tagliatelle in basil pesto. We would love to come back

Very tasty as always! Sure, a little more expensive. But it's quiet, nice atmosphere and, above all, the food is great. I always like to go there.

Even if there is a pandemic, you don't have to go crazy with a customer. You want to take away plaice fillet, and your great staff packs a plaice that is burnt and consists more of bones. (19.50 €) I can already tell you one thing, I will never recommend you again and let alone host a celebration at your place.

It's been a long time since I was so fascinated by an inn. I find the restaurant unimportant for all occasions, whether with a husband, acquaintances or clan; The workforce was straightforward, clean and nice, and I usually didn't want to share dessert with my mother at all. We have all now learned from it and will each order a dessert the next time.

Without thinking It looks delicious with intuition! ! This is a seafood restaurant that is filled with seafood. Half of them are self-service places. A place where a place made simply sits, like IKEA, ordering in line, paying money, finding your own seat and eating there The other half is a restaurant where you can take your own seat and the floor staff will bring you a menu! I ate rice at the restaurant. I have n’t heard of a baby chair in particular. I do n’t know if I ’m going to take a small child There were many mothers who normally breastfeed and many mothers with children. (It happens to be) Fish & chips chips are this French fries! I wanted to try it, but the tartar sauce was so delicious! ! The soup was good too! The grandmother of the clerk is also lovable I felt like I found a shop loved by hidden locals ^-^ The mussels that other people asked for seemed very delicious. . .

Extremely good food with a lot of season ingredients and all the dishes have a really good size. The restaurant is also well organized and together with the restaurant there is a stand where you can buy fresh seafood to take home. I definitely recommend it and will be coming back on the future

This is the main seafood shop near Römerplatz. There were many local customers, and the seats with the reserved seat plates were outstanding on the day we went. I forgot the name of the dish, but there were 5 kinds of herring pickled with vinegar and a fried white fish with plenty of mashed potatoes with porcini mushrooms under the recommended menu on the day. (English menu available) One dish is enough because there are many dishes. Drink 2 cups of apple wine for about 4000 yen for 2 people. The service is great, the price is reasonable, and if you want to stop by Frankfurt, this is the place you want to stop by!

Nice place. The food is very delicious. A bit costly. Staff is friendly. First time we visited it last Saturday, when temperature was about 40 degree. No air conditioning, as in many places, which downgraded my delight from the food. And please, don't repeat my mistake - DO NOT SIT in their striped cheselongs! They are hard, far from the table and keep you as a fish in a plastic bag with no ventilation! Anyway, the food is so yummy, so we decided to have dinner there on Monday, Jul 29. Alas, they were closed at 7 PM, though this page states working until 9 PM! Really disappointing!

If you are a see food person this is your place in the centre of the city. The food is fresh and delicious. The price is higher than the restaurants in this area but still it worth it. The staff working there are amazing people and they will help you out with your order.

It's really delicious. I was tired of eating meat while I was traveling. It was so good to have a grilled fish. And the potatoes were better than the fried ones all the time. People are huge When I do not make reservations, I have to wait.

Ordered food from this place through TooGoodToGo, the main dish is a bit oily to my taste as well as the vegetables/potatoes that go with it.

Not friendly at all We came at 20:25, they rejected us on the motive that the kitchen was closed even so it is written 21:00 on the menu but it is more that they want to make sure that the staff leave early - not recommended to have a relaxing evening, they will throw you out...

The Franke Pfanne is good value, fish is fresh and well-cooked.

From the food not trendy, so not my favorite. The ambience is not very inviting. My fish had a funny aftertaste. That's just my personal opinion. Unfortunately, I have to emphasize that.

Excellent restaurant. Bright and airy. Food is off the highest quality. All fish menu. I had fish soup which is a light broth but full of chunks of a variety of fresh fish and prawns. Which are easy to pick out if shellfish bothers you. I then had the breaded cod served with a cold potato salad and homemade tartare sauce. Delicious. The cod was so fresh and the bread coating light and delicate. Service was excellent and no problem ordering in English as menu in German and English and the staff speak it as well. Highly recommended and very convenient if you are touring the altstadt.
